The Mile North: Autumn Roads, Great People, and a Memorable Ride

There's something special about fall riding: crisp air, a tapestry of changing leaves, and mountain roads that make you want to keep going.
On Saturday, October 17, 25 riders headed north with Next Mile Moto through the Shawangunk Mountains. The weather was beautiful, the roads were fantastic, and the autumn colors seemed to get better with every turn.
A lunch stop worth remembering
Our stop at Casa Amigos in Kerhonkson, New York, became one of the highlights of the day. The owners welcomed us with open arms, the food was amazing, and everyone had a chance to relax, share stories and enjoy the company.
That kind of welcome turns a restaurant stop into part of the ride itself. A huge thank-you to the owners and team at Casa Amigos for treating our group so well.
More than just miles
We logged approximately 172 miles, but the real story was the people: new friendships, familiar faces, great conversations and riders looking out for one another.
To everyone who joined The Mile North, thanks for being part of this journey. And if you haven't ridden with us yet, there's room for you on the next one.
Good Roads. Good People. Great Rides.
